History

1969 HISTORY

1969 changed everything. It was the year the world’s first Quartz watch was released – and this new type of movement changed the watch industry completely. This movement rewrote horologic history with its remarkable accuracy, smaller size, while at the same time making wristwatches affordable.

Our first unisex collection is designed around such Quartz movement, together with vintage details in form of a slightly curved dial and a super-domed glass. Combining this with a ‘humble’ dream of creating yet another historical impact, we named this timepiece 1969 Vintage.

About Vintage is first class. The 1969 collection is designed with incredible taste at a very reasonable price. It is truly unique, and fit my needs perfectly. The 36 mm size is a rare find in this clean, precise design. The order was promptly shipped from Denmark and arrived in Baltimore incredibly quickly. I truly enjoy wearing this handsome time piece with a link to a wonderful year.

A really fine watch

I was looking for a quality “minimalist” watch, and found it. The face is uncluttered and the hands make it easy to read. The only problem was that the 36mm size was shipped with an incredibly short watchband. Even on its first “hole” I could not wear the watch, and had to use a different band. The watch does not “wear small”, and looks fine on my 7.25” wrist. A quality item!

About Vintage 1969

I like this watch very much. So far it keeps time very well, and the design is minimal, no frills, and really suits my taste. I am a man and got the 39mm one, and I still feel like it is kind of small because I am pretty tall, but it fits my wrist fine, just looks kinda small. I still like it a lot, but I think for my next watch I might try one of the bigger ones like the Chronograph.
