1969 HISTORY1969 changed everything. It was the year the world’s first Quartz watch was released – and this new type of movement changed the watch industry completely. This movement rewrote horologic history with its remarkable accuracy, smaller size, while at the same time making wristwatches affordable.
Our first unisex collection is designed around such Quartz movement, together with vintage details in form of a slightly curved dial and a super-domed glass. Combining this with a ‘humble’ dream of creating yet another historical impact, we named this timepiece 1969 Vintage.

1969 Vintage, Gold / Midnight Blue - Special Edition
Quick return and re-delivery since I wanted a size smaller. The second watch did not have a plastic cover on the dial, though.
The watch is really nice, understated and classy. I prefer the simplicity of it to more elaborate and heavier looking chronometers. One issue I have with it, and it can be easily remedied, is that the 36 mm watch comes with the too short band. It does not fit average male wrist. I like the watch so I did not want to return it, but I had to buy an aftermarket band.
I contacted the company, but their response was that their 18mm bands only come in the size provided (I call that "too small"). There was no information about that on the web site, and I did not know it when purchasing the watch. For an issue that can be remedied so easily, I don't understand why it was not already addressed. Maybe it will be now?
