1982 GMT WORLD TRAVELER

The creation of 1982 GMT World Traveler originated from the wish to expand our collection with a brand new model that offered functionality without compromising aesthetics. Our first GMT quartz watch is available in two special editions, each designed in subtle colors to create a feel of understated sophistication.

First created for pilots flying across time zones in a matter of hours, the GMT function kept track of both the local time and the time in the place from where they departed. No longer exclusive to the first great travelers of the world, 1982 GMT World traveler is the perfect companion as you embark on your next adventurous travels.

About the design

A vintage spirit encapsulated in a modern frame - a duality brought alive through nostalgic warmth as captured by golden toned hands and dots along with contemporary simplicity found within the colorpalette of both editions. Both editions feature a 60 click bi-directional bezel crafted from polished anodized aluminum, one with a dark blue part for nighttime and off white for daytime. The other edition highlights nighttime hours through the warm grey half while the other cold grey half takes care of daytime.

ABOUT THE DESIGN

The dial is designed with a Black Sunray dial with hour markers at 12H, 6H and 9H slightly bigger to make them stand out from the remaining markers. Visibility has further been enhanced through the use of golden toned lumina which lights up the hour markers. An arrow-shaped backend on the second and GMT hand gives the timepiece distinctive curves and lots of character - additionally, the GMT hand is decorated with a high contrast orange arrow-shaped tip to distinguish it from the components of the watch. Along with our classic 5-link bracelet, each edition is characterised by a timeless stylish ease, ready to be with you through life’s endeavours.

Lack of responsibility regarding delivery process (DISSATISFIED)

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of responsibility this store has shown regarding the delivery of my order. Not only was my package shipped late, but it was also held in customs in the U.S., and the store made no effort to assist in resolving the issue.

When I reached out to them for support, I was simply told that it was "out of their hands." A business should take full ownership of the delivery process and ensure that customers receive their orders in a timely manner. Ignoring the situation and failing to track shipments after dispatch is completely unacceptable.

To make matters worse, they are now asking me to review the products—when I haven’t even received them! This demonstrates a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. If they were truly committed to providing good service, they would stay on top of their shipments and proactively assist customers rather than leaving them to deal with issues alone.

I want to clarify that my dissatisfaction is not necessarily with the product itself, but with the store’s lack of experience in handling shipping and customer support. Because of this, I cannot recommend purchasing from them until they improve their processes and take more responsibility for their customers' orders.
