1815 Chronograph

1815 HISTORY

1815 was an important year – it was the year the chronograph technique was invented. With its classic design details, the first designed timepiece in the Skov Andersen collection could therefore be named nothing else than 1815.

Each timepiece is made unique with its individual number engraved on the case back. The watch is carefully designed with quality materials, sapphire glass and beautiful royal blue details. A chronograph watch with a clean and classic design in the perfect size for all gentlemen.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE THE 1815 TOO

FROM IDEA TO BESTSELLER

THE HISTORY OF 1815 CHRONOGRAPH

Almost ten years ago, we launched a watch that quickly became a crowd favorite, climbing to the top of our bestseller list and remaining there ever since. We aimed to create a timeless and classic addition to our collection—something both elegant and functional. The choice to include a chronograph movement was twofold: it added a graphical touch to the watch face and provided one of the most practical features beyond timekeeping.

VINTAGE & TIMELESS DESIGN

IN DEPTH WITH 1815 CHRONOGRAPH

At the heart of our design philosophy lies a blend of vintage inspiration and modern elegance, and the 1815 Chronograph is a prime example of this approach. This watch features a 41mm case, ensuring excellent readability with its larger sub-dials and hands. The case is complemented by two prominent pushers that deliver a perfectly crisp click when used.

This combination of timeless design and sophisticated aesthetics makes the 1815 Chronograph a standout piece in our collection. It has quickly become one of our best-selling models, celebrated for its classic yet contemporary appeal.

Watch is nice

Watch is nice but I was surprised that I had to pay the customs clearance around 20% of watch price. I thought it was included. Total price was 1900 SAR not 1600 SAR.

Hi Samy,

We're glad that you are happy with your watch! I’m sorry to hear about the unexpected customs charges.
As noted in our policy, for countries outside the EU buying items ex. VAT, customers are responsible for paying import taxes according to their specific country’s laws. This means that, while you paid the full amount for your order, any additional customs taxes are handled directly between you and your country's customs authorities.

Good looking watch but strap color on web and actual differ.

Import duties and taxes should be advised on checkout and not hidden under a shipping policy sub section. The watch is good looking but the price doesn't makes sense as it does not include duties one has to pay in home country

TIMELESS DESIGN. BUILT TO LAST.

We’re committed to craft vintage-inspired watches with a timeless design, and because we only use the best materials and movements available, they’re built to last a lifetime.

Designed in Copenhagen and delivered to the world.

STEEL & GOLD

We use 316L surgical-grade stainless steel from Finland, which is commonly used for fine watches and jewelry worldwide. Additionally, our models with gold plating are, of course, made with genuine ISO-certified gold plating, ensuring that the precious metals can withstand the test of time.

SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL

We only use highly scratch-resistant sapphire crystal on all our models, combined with an anti-reflective coating for better visibility. Our products are made with Japanese precision. It may be expensive, but it is the key to lifelong quality.

MOVEMENTS (CALIBER)

We carefully select Swiss and Japanese-made quality movements, as they are simply the best in the world. We choose specific calibers from Miyota, Sellita, and TMI that have been real-world tested and proven to be 'workhorses' for optimal durability.

A-GRADE FACTORIES

We use A-grade factories and suppliers for all components, making a difference in all the small but important details. Everything, from the feel of the round steel edges to the quality feel and weight of the bracelets, dial details, quality control, and certified work environment ethic.

NEW LOOK IN SECONDS

NO TOOLS NEEDED

All our watches are made with a quick release system for the straps and bracelet. This means, you can easily change between straps or bracelets, to give your watch a whole new look. Pop on the silicone strap for sport activities and change it to the steel bracelet for the night out.
