Limited Edition: The Fusion of Elegance and Utility

Within the realm of horology, certain moments in time stand as enduring milestones, forever etched into the chronicles of watchmaking history. In 1964, Seiko's illustrious role as the official timekeeper of the Summer Olympics marked a pivotal juncture in Japanese watchmaking, catapulting it onto the global stage and laying the groundwork for its emergence as a preeminent leader in the realm of timepieces.

Fast-forwarding through the decades, we now pay homage to the pivotal year of 1964 with the recent launch of the 1964 Horizon. On the 4th of August, we are thrilled to introduce a limited edition 1964 Horizon, a masterwork that seamlessly fuses Japanese precision with the design ethos of Scandinavia.

Crafting Timeless Versatility

The 1964 Horizon serves as a testament to the harmonious blend of rugged resilience and refined elegance. In conceiving this horological marvel, our endeavor was to shape a timepiece that effortlessly transitions from sporty attire to sophisticated ensembles, encapsulating the very essence of versatility. Drawing inspiration from the synergy of Scandinavian and Japanese design philosophies—where simplicity and functionality reign supreme—the outcome is a watch that seamlessly bridges these two worlds.

Consequently, we opted for a classic three-handed watch design, eschewing the inclusion of a date function to maintain a clean aesthetic. The generously proportioned hour markers and hands, infused with SuperLuminova for enhanced visibility in all lighting conditions, underscore our unwavering commitment to practicality.

1964 Horizon Automatic: A Legacy Continues

This exclusive iteration of the 1964 Horizon is meticulously limited to just 100 pieces per color variant—blue, green, and white—all featuring matte-finished dials. The trifecta of new colors isn't the sole allure of this limited edition collection; at its core, this favored model is equipped with the sophisticated Miyota 9-Series automatic movement.

The 1964 Horizon Automatic derives its power from the esteemed Miyota 9039 movement, a gem from their premium lineup introduced in 2018. This movement epitomizes the precision and reliability that have become synonymous with Japanese watchmaking.

Comprising 24 jewels, this movement boasts a power reserve exceeding 42 hours when fully wound, alongside an accuracy range of -10 to +30 seconds per day. With its seamless performance and precision, the Miyota 9039 stands as the pulsating heart within each 1964 Horizon Automatic.
